Not even dark ominous clouds and the threat of rain could dampen the spirits of Foresthill High School’s graduating Class of 2020 last Saturday night.
The FHS Sober Grad Committee, led by Kelly Worton and Angela Pratt, commissioned an impromptu ceremony to honor our remarkable Senior Class.
Christina Nokes started the evening off right with a rousing rendition of the Star-Spangled Banner.
The ceremony then began with the entrance of the Color Guard, followed by our graduating class. Scott Barry had the honor of introducing each graduate as they drove by (in their vehicle of choice), sharing their accomplishments and a funny anecdote or two.
Thank you to Kevin and Jessica for opening Brew Masters Deli to help commemorate the occasion. Also, a huge thanks to our FHS Sober Grad Committee: Dana Brooks, Carina Lechner, Martha Medrano, Lisa Odell, Angela Pratt, Denise Roper, Stacy Stroup, Scena Vandagriff , Jenny Vigarino, Kelly Worton, Brandi Belding, Tatiana Edson and Sandra Schrader.
Congratulations and best wishes to our graduating Class of 2020!
