The Foresthill Union School District (FUSD) Board of Education is pleased to announce Jack Kraemer as the new Superintendent/Principal. Trustees ratified his appointment at the June 10 board meeting with a unanimous vote. Mr. Kraemer, a Roseville resident, currently serves as the Innovative Schools and Charter Oversight Director for Sacramento City Unified School District and will begin his new role with FUSD on July 1, 2019.
“Jack is an experienced education administrator with a demonstrated history of continuous success, innovation and collaboration in achieving organizational goals,” said FUSD Board of Education President Sean Salveson.
In his role as Superintendent/Principal, Mr. Kraemer will divide his time between two roles. As Superintendent, he will serve as the Chief Executive Officer for the district and will be directly responsible to the Board of Education. He will direct, administer and supervise all aspects of district operations and be accountable for the management of district resources. As Principal, Mr. Kraemer will lead the planning, organizing, controlling and oversight all instructional activities, extra-curricular events, special programs and site operations at Foresthill Divide School including instructional leadership for staff and the safety and welfare of students.

Mr. Kraemer’s previous experience includes a unique and extensive blend of private and public sector executive leadership. He has a proven and successful career history with systems efficacy, strategic planning, information management, data analysis, educational transformation and charter school compliance from past experiences as co-founder of a technology startup company, classroom teacher, school site principal and district administrator
Additionally, Mr. Kraemer has earned and received many honors throughout his career including being names as a “40 under 40” recipient from the Sacramento Business Journal. He is a member of the Association of California School Administrators (ACSA), past board member of the California State University, Sacramento Alumni Association, past chapter president of the Association for Information and Image Management and has been a frequent presenter for the Charter Accountability Resource and Support Network.
Mr. Kraemer earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management from California State University Sacramento and earned his master’s degree in Education from National University. Mr. Kraemer also holds his teaching credential and administrative services credential from National University.
