Memorial Day is always marked in Foresthill with ceremonies performed by the Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion, Knights of Columbus and local Scouting troops.

These groups along with members of the Foresthill community gather first at the Community Cemetery on Church Street, continue on to the Catholic Cemetery on Foresthill Road, then the Todd Valley Cemetery, and then on to the Memorial Hall. At each stop remembrances are cited, prayers offered and flag and wreath ceremonies offered up and performed in memory of those who gave all defending our freedom.

Then as tradition has it the American Legion hosts a BBQ lunch at Leroy Botts Memorial Park behind the hall.
