Vista Complete Care plans on opening their doors for the Foresthill community medical needs early August. The office has undergone a major interior renovation for the convenience and health care of their patients.

Vista Complete Care states that they were established to create the simplest and most convenient way for health care consumers to integrate primary care and urgent care into a complete health experience. The team at Vista Complete Care is collaborative and dynamic. They pride themselves on maintaining strong working relationships with one another. Positivity radiates through the office welcoming patient’s and creating a culture of teamwork. They promote self reliance and access to your healthcare through state of the art technology and board certified specialists.

Initially there will be a two doctor team providing patient care. Dr. Daniel Sewell started Vista Complete Care in Auburn in 2010. He grew up in Loomis and graduated from Del Oro High School. He did his Family Practice Residency in Arizona where he was Outstanding First Year Resident and later Chief Resident at Scottsdale Healthcare. He served as Medical Director of Life Care Rehabilitation Center in Phoenix and Medical Director of Sierra  Doctors Medical Group in Auburn. Dr. Sewell is Board Certified in Family Practice, and has a special interest in Sports Medicine. He is also fluent in Spanish. He lives in Greenwood with his wife and youngest son. Their three other sons have graduated and are pursuing their interests. Dr. Sewell enjoys running, biking, fishing, hunting and diving in his free time.

Dr. Gordon Marler has been in healthcare for nearly 20 years.  He worked as a CNA at the Hunstman Cancer Institute while attending Bringham Young University, where he graduated with a BS in Biology and minored in Chemistry.  During his time at BYU he was awarded a Leadership Scholarship as well as a nominee for the Man Of The Year Award.  He went on to earn is Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine in 2011.  Dr. Marler has held a plethora of leadership roles during the course of his career including Chief Resident of Family Medicine and Summa Western Reserve Hospital.  He was also an Associate Director for CHARM (a non-profit organization), in BYU Student Government and President of his society.  He has even dabbled in education as an Anatomy and Physiology Instructor.  Dr. Marler is fluent in Spanish and enjoys outdoor activities.  He especially loves spending time with his wife, Anngel, and their 5 children.

Vista Complete Care accepts appointments as well as walk-ins for urgent care needs. Examples of walk-in urgent care include:  Minor injuries, traumas, or lacerations,  Urinary Tract Infections (UTI’s),  Upper Respiratory Infections (URI’s),  Flu like symptoms,  Coughs and Colds,  Sore throats,  Puncture wounds,  Poison oak or rash and Swelling or Pain. There are some cases that may require emergent care outside of their scope of practice and the clinicians may refer patients to the nearest emergency room in those scenarios.

Their planned operating hours are Monday thru Thursday from 9am to 4pm. They are closed Friday, Saturday & Sunday.The office can be reached by phone at  530-367-2229.
