Toot Sweet Brass Co. will play holiday music in the Auburn Library's Beecher Room, 11:00 to 12 noon on Wednesday, December 14 -- free and open to the public -- featuring traditional Christmas carols, Hanukkah music, contemporary seasonal tunes, and a couple of surprises.

Toot Sweet Brass Co. is a local brass ensemble founded in 2008. Regular members are Bob Runnels (trumpets, Roseville), Erik Rose (trumpets, Loomis), Cris Hancock (alto horn, Fair Oaks), George Preston (euphonium,

Auburn) and Mark Meeker (tuba, Citrus Heights). All are professional or semi-professional musicians.

TSBC plays an extensive repertoire of music for brass quartet, quintet, sextet, and other combinations. They appear professionally at several churches in the area, and have traveled as far as the Bay Area to perform.
