Placer Independent Resource Services (PIRS) is currently seeking applications for our personal assistant registry. Our personal assistant registry is a listing of qualified individuals to be employed by people with disabilities to provide a wide variety of personal services.

If you are interested in helping people with disabilities or older adults with personal care, cooking, cleaning or driving, please contact Tim Cooper at PIRS, tcooper@pirs.org, (530) 885-6100, ext. 31 or TTY (530) 885-0326, to fill out an application to join our registry of qualified assistants.

PIRS is the federal and state designated Independent Living Center serving Placer, El Dorado and Alpine Counties. It is a non-residential, nonprofit organization. Our mission is to advocate, empower, educate the community and provide services for people with disabilities enabling them to control their alternatives for independent living.
