Our wildfire basketball teams had a great season. We want to thank the Community for their support during their season. We wanted to congratulate our seniors that are moving on and had a very successful season. As it was sad to have their season end many will continue their success in their future. Our Lady Wildfires team had 5 Seniors who ended with a great season. Our Seniors were, Holly Brooks, Madie Vandagriff, Lorelie O’Sullivan, Kiera Odell and Michaela Godon. Congratulations on many great accomplishments and improvements during your years of basketball here at FHS. Our lady Wildfires made it to playoffs for the 1st time since 2013 and placed 2nd in CVCL. Thanks to coach Sadie Stroup for pushing these girls and helping them make huge accomplishments. It was an awesome season.

Our wildfire boys had a great season as well. Thank you to everyone who came and supported them. This team was made up of mainly seniors and as we are sad to see them leave we know they will continue to succeed. Congratulations to our 6 seniors, Nick Lechner, Caleb Madrano, Ben Worton, Jaycie Zapota, Kaiden Pennignton, and Drew Stroup. They made it to the Semi Finals in Playoffs this year and took 2nd in league. It was a great basketball season for all teams and we enjoyed watching them out on the court.

Lastly, we don’t want to forget our awesome FHS cheerleaders. These cheerleaders work very hard starting in the summer all the way through winter sports season. They have hit some pretty great goals and accomplishments this basketball season. Their hard work has definitely shown and paid off. We also had 5 seniors who we are very sad to see leave but know they will continue their success in college and their future. These seniors 3 of them were captains and they helped keep this team organized and spirited. Congratulations to Cierra Croteau (Captain), Abby Nichols (Captain), and Michaela Godon (Captain), as well as Lacey Noe, and Lili Lowery. We have enjoyed their bright spirits and attitudes and great performances at each and every game. Way to represent FHS ladies! Thanks to coach Jennifer Smith for coaching these girls and having them be the very best they could be out there.
